| Treat Swami like a parent or a teacher.
While in this body make an effort to see God. Do not postpone the effort. Like a maid working – her mind is at her own home – your attitude must be like that – one pointed concentration on realisation while living in the world. Do your duties but in a detached way – realise the Self, reach the goal by the nearest route. Sri Dakshinamurti sat in meditation and did not open his eyes when the Rishis came to question him. Out of respect they sat like him as they did not want to disturb his meditation and their doubts were cleared without speech. Dakshinamurti’s power passed without the need for oral instruction. If you follow the teacher with faith and one pointed concentration his Aura power will pass on to you. Don’t wait for oral instruction. |

We received a demonstration of Compression/Decompression, one of the advanced Mano Yoga techniques that should only be practiced by those who have completed the 90 day training and then only under the guidance of a Mano Yoga instructor. Imagine a rubber ball. When you press it, it compresses, when you release it, it goes back to its original shape. Like a sponge compressing Just like this you compress your body. When lying down we imagine the body has become a compressed ball, then imagine taking in air from the surroundings, air is spread all over the body. After refilling, imagine compression again. Mentally imagine compressing the body as if it were being pressed upon Through the pores imagine all unwanted things are pressed out After the first step when you stop imagining compression, the refill is automatic. Repeat this five times Compression practice is like a massage for the senses and the organs. Whenever repair is required that repair will be done. Compression removes unnecessary elements Refilling prepares the body to go on Continuous process, body gets more and more healthy Especially for women, fertility, worrying, heaviness in head will be set right. The practice is a boon for women. Give up the feeling of reaction to words spoken. When insulted accept it in a neutral way. Then there will be no bad feeling towards the other person. Discriminate and do not react. The three additional phases of Mano Yoga training are: Turiya Turiyatitta Parashakti Clear your doubts. Treat me as a friend, father, grandfather. Question: Whatever is destined will happen. Is that so? Answer: The world is a mirror of your mind and beliefs Clean the mind and the world will look clean. |

| The following is a dialogue, Swami speaking to Robert:
Swami: Are you happy with the Kshetram or is there anything we should change? Robert: It’s very beautiful here, thank you for letting us stay. Swami: (pretending not to understand) Is he saying it’s bad? (laughter) Swami: He is like my eldest child. Robert is a long lost child. Only in time he got lost. Robert, our Kshetram is yours. Not only our Kshetram but I am also yours. Swami: Bless you! |

| Water
is necessary for life. There was no water when we came here. Swami said
to dig a bore in a particular place and the engineers found water
there. In time people will say Soma brought the river Ganges and the
Somanathayana (Song of Somanathaya) will be created. Like in the
Ramayana where Rama had Hanuman, Somanatha has Hanuman Rao (retired
principal in charge of teaching Mano Yoga in schools). Rama had monkeys
and Soma has men and women (this correction will have to be made – more
joyous laughter). After darshan I spoke to the Bramachari asking for more detail on Swami’s reply to my question. Apparently he had also said: “If Robert has full devotion he will know me. But I am worried he would leave family to come to live in Kshetram. He can’t do this as he has responsibilities.” Swami calls us (Mandy and me) “his own”, considers us like family. |

Yoga nidra is not an excuse for sleep. Yoga nidra can even be done standing up. DO NOT disturb someone while doing Yoga nidra. Japa is the childhood stage. Japa, Yagna and Tapas must be all eventually given up. True yogi transcends these three childhood stages of spirituality Mala is not necessary for an enlightened person Orange clothes and japa still in raw stage of spirituality. Japa should be done unintentionally. Ajapa means your own mantra is going on without your effort. This is the stage where you realise where God is. Demonstration of process of Mano Yoga with advanced techniques was given. New instructions for Mano Yoga teachers include: Classes will have to be recorded in audio and copies sent to the Kshetram No pictures of Gods, Godesses or other Masters are to be placed No other practice is to be included with Mano Yoga Must acknowledge Swami as the Guru and founder of Mano Yoga Practice belongs to the human race and there is no distinction of caste or religion Advanced practice outlined as follows: These practices only to be done by those who have completed the initial 90 days of Mano Yoga sadhana and then only under the guidance of a qualified Mano Yoga instructor. Step One: to Step Nine: Available on request and with permission form Hyderabad only |
