The 5 Week Absolute Beginners Yoga Course provides participant with a solid foundation on which to base their future yoga practices and the 5 Week Meditation Course is a systematic and structured series of meditation lessons. 5 Week Meditation Course

Kookaburra Creek Yoga Centre is offering an opportunity to learn meditation techniques from the yoga tradition in a structured 5 week course. Students will be given practices to complete at home in their own time to help them develop a regular and sustainable practice.
Be guided in simple techniques to help you concentrate better, meditate deeply, replenish energy levels, counter stress, cultivate inner peace and establish your own regular meditation practice.
• Wednesday evenings 7.15pm-8.15pm
• Ideal for both beginners and experienced meditators

There are many, many benefits to learning meditation - from simple stress-relief to self-healing from chronic disease. Meditation is a state of mind which can be accessed by learning techniques to calm and control thoughts, emotions and outer sensations. Through regular practice of meditation techniques anyone can become attuned to their innermost self and live an effective, balanced and peaceful life regardless of outer circumstances.
Please wear warm clothes. You may wish to bring a shawl or soft blanket.

A gentle, introductory stretch and relax yoga course designed for: absolute beginners; people with medical or other conditions which may prevent them from joining regular classes; anyone wanting an understanding the fundamental and underlying principles of yoga

There are now many doctors and health practitioners who suggest to their patients they try yoga to improve their physical and mental health. Attending regular yoga classes can sometimes be daunting for people who have never attended a class, so we have designed a course to put everyone at ease. The practices are extremely gentle with an emphasis on safely stretching, strengthening and relaxing through a series of movements, breathing and relaxation techniques.
