Information for Parents

Location

Kookaburra Creek Yoga Centre is located in the peaceful Armadale hills, 30 minutes from Perth and Fremantle. For a map please go to the How to Get There page.

What to Expect

The program is suitable for 5-12 year olds. If you have a younger child they could possibly attend if they are suitably mature and the parent is willing to stay for the duration of the camp to supervise. If any parents would like to stay for the workshop they are welcome to watch or find a quiet spot outside to read or enjoy the natural surroundings.

Alternatively we are 5 minutes from Armadale town centre where you will find a cinema, cafes and many shops. There is an organic general store and cafe at the Pioneer Village where you could easily spend some enjoyable time. Roleystone and Araluen Botanical gardens are 10 minutes away.

What to Bring

Your child should wear comfortable clothes which they are able to move freely in. If you want they could also bring an art smock although none of the art materials should stain.

Children can also bring their own water bottle. Children also need to bring their own lunch so please pack a healthy lunch for your child.

Payment

Submit your Camp Registration Form to us and we will get back to you straight away with our bank account details. You will then need to pay the 50% deposit (or total amount) by DIRECT DEPOSIT to confirm your child’s place.The balance can be paid on arrival.

About the teacher

Mandy is a yoga teacher with 16 years experience teaching adults and eight years experience teaching children. She is also a professional graphic designer. In the Kids Yoga and Art Camps she combines her knowledge of yoga and the arts to create a diverse and engaging program for children. Mandy also has a current Working with Children card and Senior First Aid certificate.
