5 Week Courses are $50 each and payable on the first night of term. Previous participants can attend casually. Booking required.

Saturday Morning Yoga 
8.00-9.30am Hatha Yoga (beginners/general level)
Bookings are not necessary for general classes although you will need to book for courses and workshops. 

All classes are $10 each. 5 week courses are $50 payable first night. 

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel. 

Unless we let students know otherwise there are always classes on long weekends and public holidays.

About Our Classes

Beginners Vinyasa Yoga

Monday 6.00pm-7.30pm (Robert)

Vinayasa yoga is traditional yoga poses done in a flowing manner with deep yoga breathing and enhanced awareness. Popularised by the great yogi Krishnamacharya, this is a gentle style of yoga suitable for all levels, particularly beginners as it places no strain on the joints and is deeply relaxing and healing. The emphasis is on strengthening the body, steadying the mind, and experiencing enhanced energy levels and greater wellbeing. 

General Hatha Yoga

Tuesday 6.30-8.00pm (Robert)

A general-level class taught in the tradition of Integral Hatha Yoga. The class is comprised of classical yoga poses followed by a peaceful, healing guided relaxation. This class incorporates the 8 limbs of yoga in the practice to bring about health, peace, clarity, relaxation and meditation. The class is followed by a half hour pranahuti meditation session (8.00-8.30pm no charge).

Kids Yoga

Will resume in Term 2, 2012

Fun, relaxing yoga for 5-12 year olds. Classes include classical yoga poses, yoga breathing, relaxation, meditation, yoga-related games and other activities taught in a fun, accessible way. Through the yoga practices, children learn important life skills which can enhance their emotional, psychological and physical wellbeing in their present life and well into the future. Younger children may attend if a parent is present for the duration of the class.

Absolute Beginners Yoga

Wednesdays 6.30pm-7.30pm (Mandy)

A yoga class designed especially for the absolute beginner! Regardless of age, anybody can participate in this easy, gentle class. Students are taught 12 classical yoga poses in varying sequences which benefit the body, mind and energy levels. The emphasis is on gently stretching the body, increasing the range of movement and bringing about a state of peace and wellbeing.

General/Beginners Yoga

Saturday 8.00-9.30am (Robert)

Start the weekend with a balancing classs comprised of yoga breathing practices, a sequence of classical yoga poses, followed by a peaceful, healing guided relaxation. Both energising and relaxing! In the tradition of Integral Hatha Yoga this class incorporates the 8 limbs of yoga in the practices. Suitable for both beginners and general level students.
